What GUI trigger do I use to get a sound to play at a spell casted ?

I have imported a sound file to my map and now I need to get the trigger done right - im using GUI by the way.

I believe you can change this in the Object Editor

Just go to the fields Sound - Effect Sound (Looping) and Sound - Effect Sound and there select your imported sound, and it should work

If you want the sound to be global, firstly, go to the sound editor and un-tick "3D Sound" or something like that. And here's the trigger.

Conditions
   (Ability being cast) Equal to Dismember
Actions
   Sound - Play Sound Fresh Meat <gen>

It should be something like this.

Thats pretty close to what I ended up with here is what I have now - is this one good ? It seems to work good.

Yeah, though use the event Glenphir used, as it's less buggy
And it makes the sound only play if the caster doesn't get interrupted or something

Well, did you try it out? It looks fine.


Otherwise, look for the sound file properties, and then untick the '3D sound', or something like that. Then try it and tell us the result.
