Windows Startup Failure

This happened out of nowhere but when i turned on my computer it goes to a menu that says Windows has failed to start. A recent change in a hardware or software change might be the cause

Launch Startup Repair(recommended)
Start Windows normally

When i chose Start Windows normally it goes to a black screen and it stays there

When i choose Launch Startup Repair it works but it takes 20 minutes. Then if i turn off my laptop and turn it on again the same will occur.

The only change i remember was uninstalling a few programs and one got stuck so I had to hold the button to turn it off. And changing my mcafee settings.

Could this be a virus causing this, I remember my Mccafee detecting a virus.

Please help my laptop is relatively new it is about 6 months old.

I'd suggest a reformat of the disk, and since it's fairly new i'm pretty sure it's under warranty. Just take it to the shop and they'll probably reinstall your windows. If it's not, i suggest you do it yourself, it's not like its that difficult ^^

Other then that, yeah it may be a virus, or the programs you uninstalled uninstalled a bit more then they should ^^
