Xbox Red Ring.....

Okay so i have owned an xbox since feburary and yesterday i got guitar hero 3 for christmass. So i started playing and then my xbox froze and i decided to switch to madden. I started playing that, then the screen frooze. I turned off my xbox and the red ring of death appeared. I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions other than mailing back my xbox.

It is very possible that with guitar hero you may have moved slightly and took a cord with you, and when you switched to madden, (Awsome game BTW) it tired to get through to the power source and it couldn't, that's what happened to me.
