The most efficient way is just to always divide by two. 50k first, it sais higher so I go for 75k. Then higher so I go for 87.5k, then it's lower so I go for 81k, etc etc.

That's how internet search engines handle stuff, I heard.

Yes, It's called the binary-search algorithm, and is very effective at finding a particular number from the set of numbers. I used it as well (my number was 81492, don't know if it changes ^^.

I consider winning with the end of the game being "You find yourself outside a room" or something around those lines. I would consider losing by not being outside a room.

Whenever you name anger or hate as an emotion, the game ends and you escape. Otherwise the game keeps asking for another emotion.
