Wait for an update? Unless TESH gets the data from the .j files. I don't know how it works though.

I'd love to know how hashtables speed compared to other natives.

It's possible that we won't even need unit indexing (with UnitUserData) anymore, if hashtables (with GetHandleId) speed is similar.

So older maps can't be played after patching at all, including offline single player? Or just online?:confused:

No more castle fight!:mad: Not that it really matters that much to me considering I havn't played wc3tft online in over a year, but still. Looks like a lot more people are going to either start playing DohTa or quit playing wc3.

We can always watch the clock until sc2.

Both, and castle fight will still work as long as it doesn't use the return bug.

It takes two seconds to replace any return bugs in maps/systems/etc.
Jesus what the hell is up with this conspiring blizzard and icefrog.

Dota is still the most known and played map on tft, of course blizzard supports it. And I bet Icefrog asked them, not vice-versa.

The point is, nothing bad has happened or will happen.
vJASS still prevails.

Those guys in wc3c did some testing and it seems that hashtables are really lot of faster than gamecache and this all is ofc really fucking awesome.

Because, if it turns out that hashtables are really really fast, they could get used a lot. People might start using them for everything, even for 2d arrays and attaching structs to timers.
