Have you guys got any techniques to get rid of this rubbish away from your games? I made something very basic, but after all quite successful, unfortunately will catch only a retarded maphacker on this trap. I simply created a really big invisible unit, which is invisible for very long untill revealing spell is casted or any unit which can see invisible units is created. Quite often some wanker clicks on it. I still wonder what are your ideas, maybe someone have seen some nasty but quite good anti maphack feature.

i would say get a bugged model and place it somwhere no other player can see it. if the game tries to display a bugged model warcraft will crash.

i dont really know, i dont make models myself, but i read the threads about new models on theHive frequently. often you see updates of new submitted models because of some mistake the author made which made wc crash everytime the game tried to display that particular model.
i encountered this too once i imported a corrupted model which made the game crash when playing.
better ask someone with modeling experience i dont know any details but i know that it works.

Well, I don't quite fancy model idea, I'd love to know who's a mher instead of just dropping him.

One method is too have some units way off in a cornor of the map unvisible by players. Said units will have no vision range then once he/she map hacks then the unit will attack(any other thing as long as it will attack it (so maybe a neutral hostile building?)). Then you detect once said unti/'w/e' has been attacked and bam reveal him as hacker and drop him.

No matter if you have a maphack or not. If a unit is unable to attack it won't. It's a common mistake thinking that maphack allows unit who can't see invis to attack invis.

You mis read what I wrote,
unvisible by players
Not invisible, it would be like a footman with no visual range so it can not see at all, or be selected. however once the maphacker reveals map the footman can see and attacks. and that attack can be detected

As I expected. Yet again, Maphack doesn't cheat the process. Even though terrain is explored this unit still can't attack unit standing next to him, as simply, he was not supposed to see him. Won't attack without another unit exploring it for him. Same with invisibility. Need another idea.

I didn't try myself.Place Some Unit0001 a invisible place.Somewhere players only can see with hack.
Trigger:
  • Events
    • Time - Every 1.00 seconds of game time
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Player Group - Pick every player in (All players) and do (Actions)
        • Loop - Actions
          • If (All Conditions are True) then do (Then Actions) else do (Else Actions)
            • If - Conditions
              • (Some Unit0001 is visible to (Picked player)) Equal to True
            • Then - Actions
              • Game - Defeat (Picked player) with the message: RETARD
            • Else - Actions

Tell me were im going wrong here.
You have a competitve map in were there is active fog of war.
"Wanker" uses a memory editing program to tell wc3 there is no fog of war and thus he can see the whole map, and you want to catch said "Wanker".
From what I understood that is what you wanted.

No all people use the Wanker, but some use the advanced, which edits the directX file.

Get a maphack and check yourself. People misunderstand what a maphack is. Maphack doesn't give you a possibilities beyond a unit possibilities. If a unit is unable to do something, like technically seeing that unit standing next to him, map hack won't enable him. Maphack won't enable Blademaster to attack a Shade even tho he can select him using a maphack. Download any maphack and see yourself this idea isn't working as it simply can't.

maybe you could make a big model yourself which is basically only an invisible block with a big selection poly. (i dont really know how this is called)
this unit is this big that you can select it by left clicking no matter where your camera is currently pointing at. the unit however is invisible for all players, if a map hacker makes it visible for him and selectable then he has no other choice as to select it with every single left click.
