WIP Archer Wars: Legacy

Ok... this is how my test went:

-loading : look at loading screen for a second, ah so interesting ok then wait.
-start : started game, oh I found my AoW
-wait : I waited and looked around the map doing nothing for 5 minutes

... maybe I just missed it but you should make it more noticable so that the host knows that he has to pick a game mode!

And I know how to move the secret shops? If you place your AoW on them, they like run away and often run out of the map and disappear.

Also, how do you select which archer to play? It only allowed me to select one of them. Oh, I found it, I think.

All the "ultimates" should have lower cooldowns I suggest. These types of games aren't fully strategic, and are more fast-paced ones. The longest cooldown should be 90 seconds, and should decreases as the abilty improves.

But fun game! Good job! Waiting for future versions! :thup:

i guess you downloaded the first vers i posted up, last night i replaced it with newer vers and it creates a multiboard at the top right corner for player 1 which lists all the game modes.

and even if you did download the first version i posted, there was as notice in the thread under the download, it said that i didn't include a game mode list yet, to start the game, type certain modes.

yes it takes a long time for the tree to build, 60 seconds, but this gives time to players who need to load their code. You could only pick one char cuz you didn't load a code that unlocked them . if you read the notice, i said you could type -units to try the other 5 x_X

interesting, never noticed that.

fixed. gave it 0 collision, changed it so it cannot flee and movement speed 0, that did the trick.

lol whys the title so small and credits so big? it should be other way around =/

i think it would look better if...you put loading screen credit at the corner. (like dota) Loadscreen by Renedaru

and change Cleeezzz to cleeezzz, it looks better. and dont put roles after the name (exception is yours, "Loadscreen by Renedaru"), you could do Map by cleeezzz or something

and the uranoobcake part should be more dedicated lol
possibly centered in the image? "In Memory of U_R_A_NOOBCAKE"

and ... GET ON AIM.

•Ideas- I can think of cool modes/items/spells/archer types
•Testing- I have a golden account in Headoff so i can test the map(and play iyt for that matter) as much as I want
• I can host
• Balancing- I am not the best but i sure can help with that.

Things I can't do:
Triggers, I am bad with Jass and vJass
Models- I suck at that.

The loading screen looks OK. Well, the truth is that it looks pretty, like flat. The archer picture there is original. This is one of the best archer maps I have played, so I think it should have something more special and worthy. I don't mean that it is bad, the loading screen itself. I mean the archer picture. So don't take offense at that, I only meant the picture.

The font for the game name doesn't fit I think. Maybe photoshop the title itself, add some effects. Like have the text bulged out slightly in a little 3-D manner and have an arrow that runs horizontally but in the same color so it blends in.

I have to go now, but good job! Just needs some text improvements. :thup:

Yay, looks a lot better.
The "zzz's" can't really be seen there. The font just... has a skinny, non-visible "Z". Make change the z's to another font that looks similar, or make them bigger, or bold them or something.

I am in as a beta tester, right?
