It was posted a few weeks ago. not too new but still a better sign than none.

Personally i think the beta is going to be after gamescom, as they are using the blizzcon 2010 demo at gamescom and it would seem very awkward to use the blizzcon 2010 demo while the actual beta is going on. Aug 22 anyone?

I predict the last week of August or the first week of September. 2 month beta puts end of beta at early to mid November. 4 weeks between Beta and release = December 12 release date = WIN.

Looks like your september prediction was correct and my august 22nd was wrong :/

That's weird, they originally had the exact quote in their Inferno article and then pulled it out and only quoted "When it's ready." in that new mini-blip thing. I think his original quote on Kotaku was "by the end of September" but I didn't copy it down.

Anyway, to set expectations straight, beta in August is unlikely. But it shouldn't be too long after.
