More commonly known as floaters.
Basically, when you look at the bright azure sky, you sometimes get to see very faint dots zipping around your focus of view. Focus of view, not field of view, is where you would focus your sight upon the bright sky.
Most people can see these dots when they are paying attention to them. I thought I was special for seeing these "UFOs" hovering in the bright clear sky.
