System IDEA - Item Death Event & Autoindexer

There are two possibilities, I guess. One, hiding an item counts as it being killed. Two, hiding an item for some reason blanks its user data.

If it's the first, there's an easy fix.

EDIT: Yes GetItemIndex is fixed. I blame PJass.

Does IDEA actually work, now? I seem to recall all kinds of issues which could not be overcome, perhaps... is it stable enough to use, now? Or should this get GY'd...

Worked well without any problem for me.

What I meant by that was I seem to recall issues had been mentioned in this thread previously or by yourself as well. Is this still the case, or is the system usable without any known undocumented misbehavior?

The undocumented behavior is how it fails to index an item created when an item is indexed. This is unfixed, and I don't have the tools to fix it.

That's interesting. It's an odd situation because the author of this system asked for it to be graveyarded. I don't think kingking's system should be using it...
