Discussion Why have this habit of "hiding the breast from the public"?

It should be optional. I mean, if a guy wants to walk around w/o a shirt then let him, same for a woman. Just don't complain when people stare.

The problem is that women, in general, dont want to show their breasts in public. The only ones you'll probably see walking around topless if you make walking around topless legal are old, saggy ladies trying to catch a sun-tan.

Well of course there would be regulations should this happen, which it probably won't, where if you're not hot then you are no allowed to participate.

Breasts for the teens --> Small breasts. Do they wish to hide their breasts when they are curious of the opposite gender?

Breasts for the mature and adults. --> Fully-grown breasts. When naked, do you think they meant something else, other than "It's just a body part...who cares?"?

Breasts for the mid-aged, pregnant, or singles --> Breasts have worn out the top skin, thus causing the sagging. When shown in the public, will they recieve the same reaction as if they were 20 years younger than they are?

Breasts for the elders --> The Wise types. Is it okay just to show it to the public?

All of the above, I see them as normal. To me, they are nothing but a body part, a part that is sensitive to many kinds of peer pressure. They are used for breastfeeding, or let the baby play around with it. That's my opinion about breasts. If they are used for the act of mating, that's fine with me.

Maybe it's because of our cultures, we think of it as something that we can't speak of, due to the shame and guilt it can bring along.

Hmmm, I've seen breast around as well, but they dont bore me.

Anyway, the only thing those cultures did was making walking around topless normal for the females themselves. I dont men drool over them any bit less in those countries though.

Dont get us wrong, deal fellow. The thing I think is the most important in a womans appearance is her face. Also, when picking a girlfriend, I'm definitely looking at her personality, not her boobs. But that doesn't mean we cant enjoy boobs, does it? Simply following our instinct for pleasure.

It doesn't work like that. You don't consciously select people to become attracted to, it happens automatically. What you describe is almost certainly rationalization.
