i'm not sure if i read this or herd it or imagined it up... but didn't the idea of vampires start as homicides in london? in like the 19th, early 20th centuries?

Besides it all depends on how you look at it

from the mythological point of view vampires are defined as dead. From (i think) a historical view they're defined as sadist.

Allow me to make this all very, very simple for you all.

Vampires exist only in the stories you read, the movies you see and your own imagination. It is a legend, a myth started mainly by Bram Stoker who wrote Dracula based on a Romanian warlord named Vlad Tepes Dracula [or was it Dracul? Or was that his father? I get the two mixed up, so you'll forgive me for being slightly hypocritical and not entirely remembering what I'm talking about Anyway...]

Throughout the ages, we see Vampirism not only evolved by practiced by fanatics. The properties surrounding the mythical creatures is very alluring to most people, most notably the idea of immortality. No one is immortal.

People who drink blood are typically mentally insane or simply like their meat very very rare. S'all good.

The only way you MIGHT see a "Vampire" is a severely albino person with dental issues creating "fangs" who is diabetic and thus requires certain PARTS from other people's blood, but not raw blood itself.

Even then. No one is immortal.
