Nah but i mean you can REACH END GAME SHRINE without difficulty, maybe you loose some life (1-15) maybe you dont, you need to buy pots, get killmaim asap and BOOM, you can reach end game shrine easily!

Look around more, make sure the map is in that folder and that you've restarted wc3 before seeing if it was there.

I did... Closed Warcraft 3, after that I downloaded the Map and copied it into C:\Program Files\Warcraft3\Maps.. but It shows it very weird :S

You see the pictures of CHLW are different from the others

Also I noticed that CHLW's Filetype is different compared to ALL other custom maps I have.. CHLW is a W3X-file, while all other maps are Warcraft3 scenario files, shown in this picture:

Hope you guys can help me with it? This map sounds really cool..

right-click,
extract all files (extracten za folderensers, for you )
and here it should work (not sure too!!)

Nvm, you are running it with wc3 ROC, tft needed with CHLW!!

cmon buy it, life isnt the same without it!

You know, telling you the truth, I liked HLW RoC better than any other hlw. Resons I hate CHLW: The heros just aren't too coll with random spells of random elements. Unfourtunalty I like heros that actually have a point not like a fire mage doing freeze and blizzard. Also, this map just isn't my type. I just like HLW RoC better. Maybe you should make a hlw like it. CHLW isn't liked too much.

IMO, it is because 90% of wc3 players are dota players, 5% other host porn, childish and cheated game, 2 other % host Rigged IMBA, UBER and tomes based games like HLWL, Angel arena, HLW RoC, Hero sieges and the last 3% host great strategy games with nice spells, not uber, nor imba, made in more then 5 days with action and trill while playing in different difficulties.

The 3% hosted by like over 3K nice host, letting people DL and not getting angry because you just learned to play, are usually rare since nice players in WC3 are as rare, this have a direct link with the kind of map you play, mood, talking, playing farily and not abusing tomes in a map is the best way to play games.

No i'm not saying IMBA maps are not ''cool'' to play but IMO, map un-IMBA are nicer to play.

I think baka is on the same side as me when talking about that!

But since everyone have the right to play the game he want, uneeded that i tell you what game to play. Your style is your style, whoever want to take it off from you is surely the dumbest player ever.

But i prefer CHLW to all other HLW!

I suggest adding an "initate" ability to increase the variety of heros that are played. Like giving Avatar Spell Immunity.

hi, i host chlw 1.42 a lot but recently after the last patch released by blizzard the game would exit onto my desktop, and there would be no error message that pops up or in the event viewer. I tried hosting footmen frenzy and that seem to work fine, but hosting chlw the same thing happened again. I will try to reinstall the game and report back if the problem persists.

Does anyone happen to know a mele build that can handle impossible difficulty
(not just mele but also range creeps).

I tried with continuous random mode and i took a lot of ''200-300%'' stats and completed the map, killing end game trees easily.

Here:

Hero: Siren (melee, agility, first agility shop, third row,first column)

Skill 1: Thorns aura (returns 300% to melee)
Skill 2: Vampiric Aura (give back 100% of damage dealt in HP)
Skill 3: Cleave Attack (Ultra splash attack, killing everythong arround)
Skill 4: Debilitation Aura (mispelled??) (-1000 armor, very good if you take impossible, returning armor modifier to easy)
Skill 1: Avatar (seriously, add 5k armor, 500k life and 150k dmg + SPELL IMMUNE)

And i only start to use avatar (research it in the skills) once i reached level 10 for all other (or only when u get level 40!)

my melee build for impossible difficulty:

Incinerate (Massive damage on the early levels, lategame its explosion is still way useful)
Vampiric (Because item-based lifesteal doesn't work with Incinerate)
Cleave (For more AoE)
Spiked Armor (Fucks up trees, keeps you alive, etc.)
Ultimate: Acid Bomb (Very powerful nuke + Its armor reduction makes you damage more + steal more life from single targets. Very underrated.)

Don I tried it and it actually work pretty well....^^
but
I couldn't kill a single spirit wyvern (I was lvl 55 with everything lvl 10and with the best items) dunno why (probably because its lacking command aura and crit....)
anyway it does kill endgame trees very easy with thorns aura and avatar ^^
oh well....I know a nuke build that kills every creeps except endgame trees even on impossible so....maybe with this and mine its very solid and could require shrine lvl 6 in order to be impede^^

tnx for help....btw this nuke build is actually flash flood or the dice spell (god doesnt play dice with chlw but i do ) ^^

But sqgvur, you might want to replace debilitation with critical strike OR either vampiric, if u get killmaim and executionner (100% lifesteal then).

i havent played for heka long, but if the gamble spell is still in (makes everything around you includeing you 1hp and stunns all enimies around you) then i would say that is the best ulti hands down
