MUI = Multi-unit instanceable
MPI = Multi player insteable

MUI means the spell can be casted by mass of unit in same time without any crash.
MPI means the spell can be casted by all players together but maximum 1 unit per player. Otherwise it will crash.

The spell won't crash. It'd just bug, or not work as expected.
Maybe the effect won't be destroyed, or some bonus won't last as long as it should.

It'll rarely, if ever, crash the map.

unless u use locals!! Crash city if not used right :p well desyncoz

Locals don't crash either.
I'm guessing you're thinking of 'GetLocalPlayer', which is famous for causing desyncs (aka "crashes".)

BTW, Best is SUI, same spell can be casted by same unit at same time

E: And you don't need MUI, as usually one player can just hold one hero

Isn't MUI the same thing as SUI? With MUI you can cast it many times too. Players maybe want more of one hero.

So, what exactly does SUI stand for? :rolleyes:

And, (using your little non-existant acronym) most spells that are MUI are automatically 'SUI', as it's not possible for a unit to cast it more than once at the same time.

Not possible for him to channel more than one spell at a time, but it's still possible for the effects of another cast to be up. For example, a spell that buffs a unit for a certain amount of time could be cast on multiple units.

Also, GetLocalPlayer() does not cause crashes, it causes a desync. A desync means that some players get disconnected ("You were disconnected.") or a server split will happen (half the people playing will suddenly leave the game, and end up in their own game, thinking you were the ones who left).

How did, ah, you get this idea?

How is SUI, assuming it exists, better than MUI?

Last time I checked, Multi is usually better than Single. Unless S stands for Sexy? I'd go for that!

The Same unit channels 2 abillities that are done by the same trigger.
however
MUI > SUI
