Kevin's one of the main characters... Of course he's not dead

For one, that sword is NOT through his head, by the way. In the panel second-to-last, you can see it's already stuck in the ground. Kevin just fell down next to it.

For two, he passed out, not died due to the blood loss You'll see the explanation later on in comic 5

We also scanned it in at a much higher resolution, so I think it overall looks a lot better than before.

We just hit 40 votes for Top Web Comics, and 36 for Buzz Comix That's pretty cool for the first week of the month! But we STILL NEED MORE! Gotta ask ya people to vote EVERY 24 HOURS!

Someone asked me "Why should I vote?" recently, so here's why:

1) It shows support. When I vote and I see 2 other votes since the last time I voted, that doesn't show me a lot of support for the comic. When I see 10, well, that's support!

2) It helps promote the site. Online comic artists join these sites and submit their comics to PROMOTE themselves. Some people actually find online comics from sites like these. And the more you vote, the better ranking we get. The better ranking we get, the higher we are on the page. So far we've remained on page 2 for some time, which is a lot better than last month. But we're slowly drifting toward the bottom of the page, so I need you guys to do me a favor and vote as often as possible!

3) It might help bring in members to the forum. When people click on the link on the ranking site, they go to the comic page. From there, they might visit the forum and they might join up. That's good for us, because that shows us interest in what we're doing here, and motivates us even more to continue what we're doing. It shows us that we are providing some kind of humor into at least a few people's lives.

On a side note, the storyboard was done this past Monday night. However, Kraven just got it today, so we might cut it close with the deadline this week.

Also, school has started here in SR, NJ, and while that doesn't mean much for me, it does occupy Kraven and Krys til 2:15, not to mention some time after when you consider homework. Also, they both work part time, so they're schedules are a bit tighter these days.

However, fret not, because we all still love making the comic and will gladly bring it to you as quickly as we can

Sorry, but once again, we're going to have to skip a Sunday for comic updates.

Kraven was busy at a family gathering. Thus, he couldn't work on the comic and is just now starting it, actually.

I was out of town, taking care of sick family. Thus, I couldn't do much work on the comic, either.

So hopefully we'll have it AT THE LATEST by next Sunday. Kraven's voiced his desire to turn the comic updates bi-weekly, but I'm going to do everything and anything I have to to make sure you guys get your comic updates every week as often as possible

Interesting facts:

The idea to do the "Matrix spoof" was Kraven's idea. Otherwise, it would have just been about Sarah being introduced to Kevin.

Krys got to take a break. I got the comic this morning and photoshopped it before school.

This comic was a pain in the ass. I have to upload it about 4 times because me and Rin kept noticing errors -.-

This comic is the first and last time we use photoshop's text bubbles... Me no likes.

I may have the greatest news I've ever heard...

So, for those of you who READ GH.com, you should know that we try to update once a week... Every Sunday. However, in recent weeks (like the past 2-3 comics) we've been having issues with getting comics done on time. Kraven didn't draw them fast enough... Krys' computer gave her issues with the photoshopping. Other personal events that just got in the way.

But now. It's all over. (Well, for now anyway XD) The comic that should have come out today is actually finished. 100% photoshopped with color and text. I just need Rin to get his rear-end online so he can put it up HOWEVER!

The big news is. That I just finished photoshopping NEXT WEEK'S COMIC! AND! Kraven should have done SOME work on the comic for the NEXT WEEK AFTER THAT! Which I may photoshop as well, to give Krys a chance to rest from being seriously frustrated at photoshop. Meaning within the next week, we may be a week and a half - two weeks AHEAD OF SCHEDULE!

It makes me happy

Comic is kinda sloppy, thats what I think. But I don't like gothic either so maybe its supposed to be sloppy...

However, I noticed that the comic sites I visit regularly(vgcats.com,dp-comics.net,snafu-comics.com) don't have that Top 100 Vote for Us thing, I guess i'll vote just since its the best comic I saw with that(only).

Kraven is working on making neater comics. A lot of the time, when we scan them, they're MUCH messier. You guys see a much more polished comic.

Also, I'm a fan of a few comics that do some voting stuff, but for the most part, bigger comics like say... Ctrl Alt Del don't need them cause they're big enough to get around and be heard. GH, however, is still very new. We've only released 7 comics, and we're working off of free stuff, too. So... Yeah XD We do need the help for the comics.

Also, some of the comics in ranks 1-10 are actual published comic BOOKS. Thus, I don't think we're exactly alone in our ways.

As I said before, the VampireFreak one looks good. You wrote it in such a way that you capture the reader's attention. Also, the comic snippets were a good idea, to catch attention. A great way to advertise.

The MySpace is pretty good, though I prefer the VampireFreak one, in my opinion. The Myspace one, doesn't look as good. But then again, that may be just me.

The Myspace one has frames and is differently arranged. The VampireFreaks one is just straight down, maybe that's it? But on myspace, it does conserve some space
