You can see exactly how much I suck when I play zerg, which is the race I am trying to transition into ^_^

Regardless, of what Siretu and I said, the games are somewhere in the diamond level in terms of pretty much everything except lategame macro.

Yes, I would argue that black is white if you were arguing otherwise. We all know that. In this case(as in all other cases), black is whi... I mean, my macro is actually horrible.

Watched Bloodcount against vestras.
Though i am no master in the game (i hardly play it) i know quite something about it from the various casts i watch.

@Bloodcount:
You had way too many unspent minerals. I saw you having 1500 unspent minerals before the attack came and you havent had any battle units at all.
And as far as i know hydralisks are way better against stalkers then roaches, you had the hydra den, why did you keep training roaches? And in my opinion all those spine crawlers were wasted minerals. Spines are okay, i use them too, but i doubt i would build more then 3 or 4.

@Vestras:
The second expo was completely unprotected, if you would have noticed that roaches were also coming from the back you could have guessed the position of the expo and destroyed it.
Also remember to place pylons in your main everywhere along the edges, you dont want to get hit off guard because you couldnt spot a drop or something in time. You had way too much uncovered area in the back of your base.

I transitioned to zerg like 5 days ago.

A supply block fucked me up, A LOT and I forgot I had hydras lol, if I had 8-12 spines I'd have been okay.

Watched Bloodcount vs Siretu now,

@Bloodcount:
You had again WAY too many unspent resources. 15000 Minerals at one point. . .
And you builded tech buildings you didnt even use. You had a baneling nest but you didnt morph in any banelings. You builded a fast roach warren but you sticked with only zerglings. Why?
Besides, you saw your enemy had nothing but marines (and those, what, 3 tanks?!?!) get those banelings. you could have destroyed everything at ease.
When you harras with infestors, you can drop infested terrans even when you are burried, why did you unburry and get shot by the planatery fortress? Also if you want to use the infested terrans you could throw them inside the worker line, this way the area of effect damage of the pf will hit the allied workers along your infested terrans.

@Siretu:
Everything you needed was a single scout which detected that bloodcount had NO BATTLE UNITS at all for like the first 10 minutes. You had so many chances to just attack and steamroll over him.
You should also try to scout what he transitions into. when you saw those infestors you should get far more ghosts and tanks and less marines. and with the numbers of medivacs you had you should consider a drop at one point or another.
Also if your oponent only got infestors and zerglings maybe get some blue flame hellions? They are wonderful in roasting light armored units.

working on that

Try to stop blue flame hellions with lings ^_^ I got them in case I needed them.

I was gonna, but he had a planetary fortress... no use to spawn them.

You didnt read what i wrote? The pf does splash damage which can hit allied units as well.
Place the infested terrans in the middle of the mineral line (while your infestors are buried) and the pf will destroy its own allied workers for you!

I recently transitioned into terran from zerg and I feel scouting is a big thing that I am not doing atm. I am used to having overlords all over and when I am terran I have no map control at all and just sit scared in my base all the time.

I will assume you didn't watch the game where I opened blue flame hellions and did a simultaneous drop and hellion harass resulting in 20 drones killed. I agree with your statements though.

Only watched on Bel'Shir Beach.

You both played very passive. Besides 2 failed harrassment attempts there was no engagement but the last fight which didnt last longer then 10 seconds.

Siretu:
too many unspent minerals. . .
And when you see that your zerg opponent is already on 3 Base and taking a fourth you need to move out.
When a zerg manages to macro how he feels like you wont stand a chance.
Fighting a (good) zerg means constant harrassment or you have lost.

Vestras:
Well played. Good expanding. Good static defense, not too many, not too little. Very nice spire and overlord placement. You could have ended the match faster but it was okay.

Don't be scared... Terran have such easy map control... so mobile.
